Eberwein Medical

Standards of Practice and Care

Eberwein Medical & Lifestyle follow the fundamental standards as set out by the Care Quality Commission. Our objective at all times is to put patients in the driving seat of their treatment. A patient is always at the centre of their care and guided by the doctor as oppose to the traditional model which is doctor lead.

Putting patients first encompasses respecting privacy, dignity and always treating equally regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age or disability. At all times effort is made to ensure patient safety from a clinical and safeguarding perspective.

All employees of Eberwein Medical & Lifestyle undergo regular evaluation and training, keeping up to date with accepted standards of practice. We have regular audits to ensure standards are met and to uncover any shortcomings in current practice. Any harm or mistakes made, regardless of extend is always made transparent to patients. All staff would have had an appropriate Disclosure & Barring check.

As part of achieving and maintaining high standards, patient feedback is sought after and actively encouraged. This is regardless of whether positive or negative as all feedback is valuable and helps ensure continuing high standards and improvement. We have a thorough complaints policy as detailed in the policy section and patients are encourage to use this.
